and Near Net Shape" manufacture. The company has been established
in this discipline for over 10 years and has close links with recognised
academic establishments in this field. Aims
has a well equipped facility offering powder handling and processing
equipment covering a wide range of options and stages. The company
offers a range of standard products encompassing nickel
based super-alloys, aluminium and steels.
Some of these are offered as "Metal-matrix-composites" (MMCs)
and fibre reinforced composite products. Turnkey projects undertaken
to produce completely manufactured/finished components.
